Using Merchant Partners Payment Module for Miva Merchant

Installing the Payment Module:

  • Login to the Miva Store Admin area.
  • From the dropdown list, select "Modules".
  • All new versions of Miva now come packaged with the latest payment module. If the module “Miva Merchant Payment Gateway” is listed under “Modules” please skip to Configuring Payment Module below.
  • If you are using Miva version 4, Click Here to download the payment module.
    If you are using Miva version 5, Click Here. Unzip the file to a location to which you can refer later.
  • To add new modules select “Add Module”.
  • Browse to find the globcomm4.mvc from your computer and click "Add".
  • The module “Miva Merchant Payment Gateway” is now installed. Please go to Configuring Payment Module below.

Configuring the Payment Module:

  • Click on the arrow next to the Stores item in the navigation window to expand a list of the currently configured stores in Merchant.
  • Click on the arrow next to the name of the Store under which you wish to install Miva Merchant Payment Processing.
  • Click on the Payment Processing option.
  • Check the Miva Merchant Payment Gateway option and click on the Update button.
  • If you have an older version of the payment module, it will be listed as “Global Commerce Payment Gateway”. Please go to Upgrading the Payment Module to latest version with CVV2 support below to upgrade to the latest version.
  • Next to Modules, click on the Miva Merchant Payment Gateway tab.
  • Complete the form, making sure all fields are correct.
  • The module is defaulted to run in Test Mode. To change this, select the radio button “Live Mode” and enter in the Gateway Account ID. If you are using a SubID, enter it under the “Account Sub-ID”. If Merchant PIN is enabled in the Gateway, enter the value given in under the FRISK settings in the Gateway or all transactions will be declined. The CVV2 message will be displayed to the consumer next the CVV2 box in the checkout screen. To perform a Sale at the time of checkout, select “Auth & Capture” option under “Charge Method.” To authorize the card only and capture at a later date, select “Authorize when Order is Placed”. Select all the card types you wish to support, the CVV2 option if desired, and click the update button.

Upgrading the Payment Module to latest version with CVV2 support:

  • If you are using Miva version 4, Click Here to download the payment module.
    If you are using Miva version 5, Click Here. Unzip the file to a location to which you can refer later.
  • Login to the Miva Store Admin area.
  • From the dropdown list, select "Modules".
  • Select Global Commerce Payment Gateway.
  • Click on the "Files" link.
  • Browse to find the globcomm4.mvc from your computer, make sure the “Overwrite” box is checked, and click "upload". The module will now appear as "Miva Merchant Payment Gateway" under the Modules option.
  • To configure the upgraded payment module, go to Configuring the Payment Module above.
